What models do you have that are pre-1976?  Sounds like DEC PDP-8
territory.

I was an EE grad in 1974 and remember the old names in Byte Magazine
(of which I have an almost complete collection from the start in 
September, 1975).

Things were more exciting in those early days.  How about paying
$450 in 1975 ($1800 in 2009) for a 16-kbyte RAM memory board KIT?

Today, a PC to me is primarily just an appliance, like a toaster.
