Many thanks for your efforts here, Breck. There is an incredible
amount of interesting and useful information in these old posts.

Bill was responsible for bringing me into the list many years ago. I
met him some years later, his collection was incredible in breadth and
detail. From pre-WWII to post Cold War. He was a pretty imposing
figure too - I'd guess 6'2" - 6'4" and 'all there', with a deep,
all-business voice. The stories he could tell were amazing.

So it's especially good to see some of his work preserved here. It was
a true passion for him.
