[Milsurplus] FS: Wireless Set No. 38 MK II

Before I offer this radio on eBay, I thought I would post it here.

For sale is a Wireless Set No. 38, MKII in good condition. Examine the
photos at
http://tinyurl.com/ydhx7go and I think you'll agree, it's in largely good
condition. The top case screws are a little ratty, and there's a  scratch
across the nameplate. Otherwise, it appears to be in good condition with
only minor scratches and blemishes. Included is the r/t, a short antenna,
and a small harness thing- see the photos. I don't have anything else for
this radio. There's a little card inside stating that it was realigned in
May of 1981. I have not applied power to this unit, and can make no
statement about it's functional condition. That said, the inside appears to
be complete and in good condition. There's a tag on it indicating that it
was tested in 1997, and that it was "best" but I can't vouch for such a
statement (but it's encouraging). Let me know of any questions you might
have.

I recently bought the radio intending to use it, but realize I have enough
mouths to feed as it is. My loss is your gain. I'm asking $175 firm, insured
and shipped anywhere in the US. Payment by paypal or USPS money order only.
Folks overseas should ask about what shipping might cost to their QTH, but
only if they are seriously considering purchasing the radio. Include enough
of your address for a meaningful estimate. I'm highly predisposed to the
USPS for foreign shipping- they do a great job for a good price. Seven day
ROR on the radio, you pay return shipping.

I'll keep it for a while, then put it on eBay. However, I don't sell
internationally on eBay.
