Hi Mike,

That six-channel VHF pushbutton set doesn't ring any bells
of recognition with me.

When I got aviation indoctrination training at NAS Corpus
Christi in 1972, we used T-34s with AN/ARC-60 (R-508/ARC,
CV-431A/AR) (A.R.C. Type 12) UHF-AM five-channel transmit,
manually-tuned receiver sets.

Was the AQT/FAR test used in your era to help select pilot
trainees? I had orders to pilot training that got cancelled
after my engineering degree caused me to be "drafted" into
Rickover's nuclear navy (very much against my wishes).
