It is interesting that you mention the RAA/RABs, Rob. TEXAS still has one  
of the five RAAs (with its PS) that were installed in her in July of 1935,  
the other four were removed between September 1942 and April 1943. In fact  
the serial number of the remaining RAA is #90. We do not have a record of  
whent he RABs were removed, but I would think that they were removed the  
the bulk of the RAAs were (1942-1943). The first of two RAK/RAL pairs were  
installed in April 1943 and in September of 1943 the ship's three RBA-1s  
were installed, but we do not have a record of whent he RBB-1s and RBC-1s  
were installed.
