[Milsurplus] ID'ing a dynamotor (?)

It's a rotary inverter, not a dynomotor.
Likely for running a compass or somethingf similar or possibly the servo
motors and indicators in an ADF like an ARN-7 or MN-31.
"Alimentation" is French for food... dyno food. LoL.
