Six or seven years ago I had a RAK receiver that I bought in Timonium for $25, wasted lots of time cleaning it out, there had been a mouse living in it. Disassembling and reassembling the two meters to push the glass back in place and cleaning the cabinet. That radio took a huge amount of space in my truck on the way to Dayton. I tried to sell it for $35, then $25 and $20, ended up giving it away for free just so I did not have to pay for the gas to drag that thing back home. Thought it was the HF version when I bought it, will never make that mistake again.
