Dave, the RAL power cord connects to a terminal strip inside the RAL, and I think also into the power supply. (Been a while since I've had the PS pulled out). So yes it's a bit awkward.

Great video Rob. Really enjoyed it. Looks like a neat receiver.
I saw one of these at a hamfest last summer but it was in dismal shape
cosmetically so I passed.
I have a question. The power supply was hard wired to the receiver with
no connectors making it very awkward to move around. Is this the way
all of the RAL/RAK receivers are?
