[Milsurplus] New video on Navy RAL receiver

Great video Rob!

The RAL was the high-water mark in short-wave TRF-autodyne design.  It 
is a revelation to folks who equate all regenerative receivers to the 
Knight Ocean Hopper.  The RAL has two RF stages, two audio filters,  AVC 
by way of an output limiter, and a regulated power supply.
