I don't know of any on-line manual for the AN/ARR-15. The maintenance
manual is AN 16-30ARR15-3. Robert/WA5CAB prints an excellent reproduction
of the original. That's where I got mine years ago.

The R-105/ARR-15 has been a favorite of mine since I got one through Navy
MARS 42 years ago. I used it at Ga. Tech 40 years ago with an Multi-Elmac
AF-67 to check into Georgia Navy MARS on 6970 kHz Morse. I used a 28 vdc
power supply and the only mod I ever made was installing an electrolytic on
the B+ line to cut down on noise from the DY-34 dynamotor. That was a
non-permanent mod because even in 1970 I did not like to modify the
original design of military sets. I wasn't operating vintage equipment
for the novelty, but because it was all that I had (and it wasn't all that
vintage either, back then).

I still have that old R-105, but I've also got the later R-105A/ARR-15 together
with the T-47/ART-13 and DY-12/ART-13 to make the USN combo known as AN/ARC-25.
Anyone seeking to do something similar will find that the MT-461/ARR-15 receiver
mount and the C-733A/ARR-15A remote control panel are very hard to find today.
Very very hard. The C-733A matches the common C-740/ART-13 remote control panel
for the AN/ART-13.

The most obvious omission in the AN/ARR-15 design is the lack of beacon band
(200 to 500 kHz) coverage, such as the BC-348-* (AN/ARR-11) provided for the
USAAF's AN/ARC-8. When the USN adopted the AN/ARC-38 replacement for the
AN/ARC-25, its auxillary receiver R-648/ARR-41 restored beacon band coverage.
