[Milsurplus] Hallicrafters R-45/ARR-7 Receiver

Saturday at our yearly club auction in the freebie pile was a
Hallicrafters R-45/ARR-7 Receiver, it looked to be in fair condition,
no power supply. Is this a good reciever, worth the trouble? Just
curious, was it teamed up with a transmitter? I could probably get it
from my buddy.
