Few days back there was discussion on transformers to match 600Ω outputs
to 4-8Ω speakers.  RadioShack used to have the 32-1031, 70-Volt line
transformer, it is now discontinued, last price was $6.99.  Some may still
be around at some stores.  MCM carries several models, 2W to 60W capacity
from $3.29 up.

For only a small wattage capacity, there is the little output transformer
from R/S, 273-1380, 1KΩ CT to 8Ω.  Be OK for low wattage, pack sets etc.
It's only $2.99.
