[Milsurplus] auction time linked to what timeing source?

They load an applet into your computer to show the time. Depending on what
your computer is doing, the time may be off. I've had the time on an
auction page hang from several seconds to several minutes.

I have a small atomic clock next to my bidding computer. I time my big
using that, the moment I hit the "confirm" button, compared to the time
shown as being left after page refreshes indicates accuracy within a second,
pretty good considering the lag over the internet.

Maybe I missed something along the way but I am curious as to what time it
is on the auction place.I just synched my watch to my laptop's clock and
then went and checked it against "live over the air"WWV and it was 4 seconds
behind WWV.
Is there a link to ebay's clock so one can sync to them?
