I have been working on putting together an ITT Mackay MSR-8050 transceiver. This is a unit that was never finished at the plant or put into service. Have just about everything ready to go by using cards from a older MSR-8000 and resolving the issues with doing this but the controller card is missing the two system roms (U3 & U4) both 27128A chips. On the strange chance that someone may have a scrap, broken or working 8050 that I can copy the code from I thought I would ask. The MSR-8000 uses an older MPU, entirely different data bus structure and only moves in 100 Hz increments so its roms are no good in this application. The loss of source code and programming will spell the doom of many radios in the future!
