When I was learning about all this stuff we
maintained the T-4/FRC HF transmitter.
Its power supply, the PP-1 or whatever, had
a 15 pound choke mounted on a bar which
went across the middle of the space inside
the rectifier tube area.   The book said it was
a swinging choke.
