I can't vouch for its accuracy, but I notice that the SCR-183/283 
interchangeability chart on my documents page sez that the TM-AO-202 
junction box is used for all the 283 sets.  It only lists seven of the 
JBs for the entire 183/283 series.  Apparently there was more use of 
in-plane wiring in lieu of nomenclatured junction boxes than I thought.
