Don't recall the radios per say but thought they did a good job replicating the SCR-270 radar unit and they did use EE-8 for the field phones and the phones in operations. Lot better than the crap they thru together for the second movie.

Hello All:  I watched Tora Tora Tora again last night and they had bunch of
radios in the radio room, one of which looked like a Halli, I didn't
recognize the rest. Also on the bomber trying to land was a radio set I've
not seen before. Was this authentic equipment for the time, or just
something they threw together for the movie?
