[Milsurplus] out along the flightline or desert someplace

 out along the flightline or desert someplace.  Can't see what the receiver(s) is/are because the inside of the box is shaded.  Any guesses?  Pretty neat huh?

In the video he says they're at Muroc, which I think became 
Edwards AFB.
