I used to do glass etching and this was one of three methods I used.  The
early ones used ceramic nozzles that would wear out and had to be replaced
periodically.  I don't know if that's been fixed or not but it's worth
checking on.  Anyway, it was great for etching people's initials onto car
windows for security identification.  Cops suggested it, and I made a nice
chunk of change doing it.  :-D
