Per TM 11-850, the lamps are GE #44, 6.3 volts, 0.25 amps. these are
very common. #47's might do the trick, but at 150 mA, thay won't be as
bright.

Apparently the previous owner just stuck a couple of lamps in the holders not knowing what was required. pair of 47's will work just fine then. Like to put some 10V units in but i don't have any. WOuld certainly be less bright and maybe longer life.
