Hi Michael,

Maybe a radio with multiple I.F. chains would serve better than multiple
RF amp/mixer modules. Your mixer could use a single crystal with
different I.F. frequencies in the multiple channels. Each I.F. chain
would probably include the AM detector/squelch circuit and the detected
AM then goes to your single audio strip. Did you say four channels VHF
and four channels UHF gets you what you want? What frequencies would
those be?
