Jeff,

There is a Yahoo users group for the "N3ZI" kit-builders. You might want to
check them out and see if anyone else has used that particular product with
Collins equipment.

Subject: [Milsurplus] Digital Dial for Collins Radios

Good Evening All,

I finally have finished cleaning and servicing a Collins 75S-3c

receiver. I added a full set of extra crystals for S/W and other Amateur

bands and CW Filters. Great radio, plays well, I also took the time to

build a Toroid audio filter( Circa 1950 ) and used a 516F power supply

cabinet for a speaker enclosure. After a touch up on the alignments the

radio is set to go up on my operating area. Now for the question. has

anyone added a Digital Readout to one of these radios. I took a frequency

counter and checked the VFO output. it reads in the 2.6 Mhz range. So

will one of the inexpensive digital Kits work with this type of IF set

up.
