Your take on this key is right on. I have a Naval Intelligence manual on 
aircraft which pictures the key
next to a radio - I don't want to look for the book right now - maybe I will 
quote the radio type later.
I have the same key and also a very similar one without the fastener thing 
on top. What is that for?
I wonder why the museum's copy is so much more beat than ours, since the 
EEIS and Naval Intelligence
had first pick of loot.  I imagine these keys would bring big bucks on Epay.
