Good Goobly-Moobly, Hutch!!
Probably another one of the guys like American HUMVEE and "squirrelparts" who are familiar with what they sell, but sell at many time the price other surplus dealers do. Anther group of sellers with similar prices, listing that begin with "I don't know what this is, and I've not hooked it up (alternately "I've hooked it up and the power light came on") who have NO IDEA what it is or what it's worth. And I know we've all seen worse, much worse, not just on ebay, but even pre-ebay.
Then there are folks like Steve Haney, Mike Murphy, and Austin Aviation (aka "beltfed). Looking through Austin's listings yesterday he was selling NIB, sealed LS-454's and similar items for around $30. American Humvee seems to price beat-up LS-166 speakers, complete with electrical tape on the cord, for as much as $150-300!! What's sad is that there are folks that BUY from these guys rather than the more honest and reasonable among us.
