I hadn't heard of a solid state version of the 102E rcvr. Is there such a
critter???

My 139 rcvr is tube type. Interesting that the Chinese version of our 1L4
tube in this rcvr has a separate pinout for the suppressor grid. It's
disconnected from the filament.
