[Milsurplus] RCA 6263 Tube

There were zillions of those showed up in MARS back in the early days.  For some forgotten reason, I thought they were used in the proximity fuses.  Anyone else remember that application?

Good Evening All,

        when we were cleaning out the M.A.R.S. Station at Fort Monmouth I
came across a few of these tubes. It's a PENCIL Type UHF medium-mu
Triode. Looks like it was designed to fit into a cavity socket of some
type. Any one have any experience with this little gem.
