[Milsurplus] PRC-47 power oscillator transistors

I have a NIB PRC-47 which I believe needs new power oscillator
transistors.  It runs, but one transistor (2N2287) runs slightly warm,
and the other is stone cold.  Also the tiny driver transformer is
uncomfortably warm.  I think I better replace both before something bad
happens.  2N2287's are long out of production, so does someone have
current experience here?
