I was examining and checking out a 2nd BC-348Q this morning and the glass came loose in the frame.  Other than Superglue what would be an alternative to get it "stuck" back in place.

Also i had said that i thought i had another Hallicrafters power supply in this one.  Sure looks good but it was not to be.  However i did find that the Power tranny inside was defective so i pulled that out.  now to find another one similar but as there were no markings on it and both sides show open i'm not sure what values it contained.  One i know was 6.3V and he did indeed change some filament wiring to make the heaters operate on 6.3V.  B+ winding on the transformer is unknown for certain although he had it wired to a couple of diodes in the Full wave configuration.  For now i have a Lambda supply for both filaments and B+.  Holds pretty steady at 50 ma Ip.  No audio though so i'm still chasing that.

Does anyone have one of the Dial Lamp controls?  Think this went around before some time back when someone else was looking for this.

Also i need the main tuning knob.  I had one in the desk drawer, brand new but it's disappeared to wherever the gods deemed it to go.  One of these days i'll catch up with all this stuff i've misplaced!!!!!
