The original post said capacitor input filter.
It would be a very bad idea to put the 28 volt winding on the HV
transformer. If you do, you will have to add a relay or relays capable of switching
the 400 and 1100 volt lines. Remember that neither the dynamotor not the
transmitter has any such capability. And that the dynamotor does not run all
of the time. It is shut down in Voice and if in CW, when tuning to a new
channel.
Plus if, as a number of people I know have, you have both the dynamotor and
the AC supplies, why build two 28 VDC supplies.
