[Milsurplus] FS/FT: AN/GRR-5

Greetings.

For sale or trade is one AN/GRR-5. It's in OK physical condition (issued and
very used), all controls work and the radio receives well and delivers good
audio. The case, power supply and receiver are all from the same
manufacturer (Motorola) and the same contract date. A previous owner drilled
a hole in the back of the case and ran a power cord through it. At least he

I would prefer to trade it for US Navy radio equipment, especially (don't
laugh) TBX related accessories. A decent cover for the TBX transceiver
itself would yield a huge discount on this radio. But selling it is fine
too.

I recently bought the radio intending to use it, but realize I have enough
mouths to feed as it is. My loss is your gain. I'm asking $175 firm, insured
and shipped anywhere in the US. Payment by paypal or USPS money order only.
Folks overseas should ask about what shipping might cost to their QTH, but
only if they are seriously considering purchasing the radio. Include enough
of your address for a meaningful estimate. I'm highly predisposed to the
USPS for any shipping- they do a great job for a good price. Seven day ROR
on the radio, you pay return shipping. I'll keep the radio for a while, then
put it on eBay. However, I don't sell internationally on eBay, not that it's
likely anyone would want to pay for a beast like this shipped to them
overseas anyway. Thanks for your consideration.
