While digging through the stufftorium I came across a wooden speaker enclosure painted black with a nice 10" speaker mounted inside. Nothing odd so far but on the top of the cabinet where 4 small holes where a nomenclature plate had been, a stamped 'MFP' and this odd other stamp that I'm guessing is a QC stamp but none like I've ever seen before.
It is a circle , about 5/8ths of an inch in diameter and contained within this circle is what looks to be a schematic rendering of a resistor and a battery ( or it could be a capacitor ) connected in parallel. And written underneath it the letters LG. I'm guessing it was the factory QC stamp and not the military. The wood cabinet is made of ¼" plywood and the quality of construction is ok .

Any guesses ?

Tnx
Paul
