Another tip for anyone working with these:
If your TX coil set is marked "4000-5000 KC,"
you can indeed tune the oscillator down to the
75 meter phone band. Trouble is- the PA tank coil,
which is the one with the roller-tap on it, won't go.
It bottoms-out just where they say- about 4000 KC.
This means if you want to use the crystal-controlled
coil set (which is usually tuned to the AACS frequency
of 4495 KC), you'll have to swap-out the PA coil
with one that covers 3.9 MC. I wouldn't normally
recommend this, of course, but I won't tell
