     FYI:  The PRR9 receiver weighs about 1.2 lbs and can be equipped with 
an earpiece.  But the separate PRT4 transmitter is a big clunker, weighing 
about 2 lbs.  It also has a pullout antenna that is about twenty inches 
long.  There is no external mic available so you'll have to hold it in your 
hand during your QSOs and activate the PTT rocker switch.

     I wouldn't recommend using this kit for a freefall.  Too many things 
flying about in front of your face.
