[Milsurplus] Need 4000/4(or 8) ohm audio transformer to use with a BC-324N

Isn't that a BC-342N?
The transformer you need is a 70.7 volt line to 8 ohm audio transformer.  They have a multi-tap primary that is labeled in watts.  The secondary is labeled 8 or sometimes 16, 8 and 4 ohms.  Use the 1.25 watt tap and common as the connection to the radio.  This will give you a 4000 ohms to 8 ohm transformer.

See for yourself:
70.7 volts squared divided by 1.25 watts = 4000 give or take a few ohms.
