[Milsurplus] What Is It ??

I came across this roughly 5x6x4 inch transmitter in my storage area and I
am wondering what it is; all I recall is that I was told it came out of a
WWII bomber but it may not be a military radio.  The transmitter label says:

RCA Victor Manufacturing Company Inc
Camden NJ
Aircraft Transmitter
Model AVT-110  OR  Model AVT-111
MI-19600                    MI-19601

There are 4 octal tube sockets as well as a 4 pin tube or crystal socket.
There is an antenna terminal and ground terminal on the rear.
