The A.R.C. Type 12 maintenance manuals frequently show a system
diagram of a 24 vdc A.R.C. Type 12 (R-11, R-19, T-11) with a 12 vdc
SCR-619 (BC-1335) in one system (controlled through a single
A.R.C. C-37 control box) for use on light forward observer aircraft
with 24 vdc bus.
The generic SCR-619 has an option of using the DY-44/U 24 to 12
vdc dynamotor, but the installation shown in the A.R.C. manual simply
uses a dropping resistor to get the 12 vdc for the BC-1335. Of course,
there's not much difference in transmit and receive current consumption
of a BC-1335.
