And there's the rub!

The pictured O-16 and CU-25 are "Navy-ish" and somewhat unexpected
in an AN/ARC-8, which itself would likely not have been aboard many
post-WWII USN aircraft.  It seems more likely that early USN SP-2H
aircraft would have an AN/ARC-25 (AN/ART-13 and AN/ARR-15), later
replaced by an AN/ARC-38.
