Hi John,
Nobody spoke up so here goes. You can download the package anonymously,
and try it for 15 days. I did this and took a quick look. Yes, it does
some neat things. You can grab a shot of an open book and it will
straighten up the perspective and split it into two pages. It will deal
with multiple images and make the whole thing into a .pdf.
I found it a little less than intuitive to use, and I'm disappointed
that it doesn't seem to do anything sophisticated with the images like
enhancing contrast or making them black and white to reduce resulting
file size. Fifty buck seems like too much money for the way I'm likely
to use it.
