[Milsurplus] SRR-13 question

FWIW, there is a nice writeup on the SRR-13 in Electric Radio, July
1991.  It appears they were rushed into production to meet needs for the
Korean war, and have some faults.  The permanently connected noise
limiter introduces unacceptable distortion for speech, and there is poor
dial accuracy in the SRR-13.  It appears that the original tuning range
was 1.5-28 Mc, and was hurriedly changed to 2-32 Mc, without adequate
testing.  With a bit of work it's a nice receiver, and I think more
kindly of it now.
