[Milsurplus] What military transmitter is THAT???

Out of boredom I was watching Turner Classic Movies today, and they 
ran C. B. DeMille's
THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH.

The circus's Boss Man (Charleton Heston) used a radio to coordinate 
the setup and teardown
of the circus; it was a WW2 vintage surplus HF transmitter that I 
don't recognize at all.

It's sort of a "Baby BC-375" (NO, it most definitely is NOT a 
BC-223!). The transmitter has 3
meters across the top of the front.

It appears in the background several times in the film.

Anybody know just what rig that is?
