Moe,
The angle of the camera to the dynamotor is not quite great enough for me
to say for certain, but I think the end bell still attached is also straight.
If that is the case, then it is either a Ballantine or Wincharger 21932
sitting on a COL-23333 base/control unit, or a DY-12/ART-13. If the far end
bell is tapered, it would be either a Russell 21931 sitting on a 23333 or a
DY-11/ART-13.
FWIW, the only differences between the Navy nomenclatured and AN
nomelatured models is the nameplate. Most DY-11's and DY-12's were created by putting
new nameplates onto the ATC models.
But in any case, I recommend that you do as John suggested and repair it.
If it were a DY-17A/ART-13A, or maybe a DY-17/ART-13A (there are two
variants and I may only have one left), I could send you the parts. But the early
models are scarce if not rare.
Also, on the Russell models with the tapered end bell, the straight end
bell is on the fan end.
The DC input connector is some fine-thread AN connector and not original.
The correct connector is GK-C3-32S (2 large and one small pins). Fits
U-10/U.
