[Milsurplus] Today for lunch

While this has nothing to do with these radios, a big ad i've seen around has stated that any military person, honorably discharged, with proof of mil service either with a proper ID card or DD-214 can appear at Applebee.s today for a free lunch/dinner.  Its to early for me to go and check it out but thought maybe some of you other vets might be interested.  Their ad said  "to show our gratitude to those who served".  

No i will not take any command set gear with me as it would take up to much table space!  Hopefully there is truth to this.
