Rod,

I've never seen any of the components (except accessories common to other 
sets) but do have a poor copy of the manual, TM 11-626.  When set up for 
operation, AN/TRC-10 is similar in appearance to SCR-288 or SCR-284 (uses the 
same LG-13 legs as the latter) but the front cover comes off instead of 
hinging down to form a table.  Covers 2-12 MC.  Transmitter is CW only.  Came with 
hand crank generator, vibrator power supply and rectifier power supply. 
which could be run off of the little PE-214-(*) gasoline powered generator..  

I recall someone saying some years ago that it was either used in or 
intended to be used in China by the Navy weather crews.
