One of the xtal control receivers surfaced in the estate of a ham
in Missouri some years ago.  I was told the estate was badly 
mishandled and most stuff "disappeared into the gathering darkness,"
including the NRL set.  The only other one I know of was donated
to the Smithsonian, where it will sit in a crate in its own darkness 
until the end of time.
