 G'day ... all those who responded---many thanks. A friend in UK, Clive has
mailed me  a sample or 2, so I've been accommodated.
The Heath Cantenna option was canvassed some time back, but even without
oil, sellers over there wouldn't mail/ship.
I'll probably use cooking oil as coolant and taking advice from Google
contributors , epoxy the rod to minimize adsorbtion of oil--- maybe this not
necessary.
Anyway thanks  all round.
