AMEN to that.  Don't forget the "debit cards"  they are treated like a
standard VISA or M/C and the merchant gets 'dinged' for taking them too.

We take M/C Visa Amex Disc, etc and wow! the charges/commission that get
deducted. Usually 3.2% plus. So the $160.00 or so net is about right on
the net. Sometimes we have items that are sold at a very small margin, and
if someone uses 'plastic' we actually loose money on the transaction,
sorta sucks.

Life for merchant isn't always super rosey.

Oh, Paypal and Ebay are same person as I understand it.  I would much
rather accept personal checks, 'if they are good' than anything else for
purchases.
