[Milsurplus] AN/ARD-7

Is anyone familiar with the AN/ARD-7 receiver. One net listing I found 
states this radio was "used by US Army" and "similar to AN/ARN-54". VK2BV's 
website says the ARN-54 is a militarized Lear ADF-14. The manual for the 
ARN-54 is TM 11-519. So, all that being said, can anybody tell me the 
differences (if any) between the ARD-7, ARN-54 and Lear ADF-14 trio.
