Interesting...
4 years ago I bought a Wireless Set 58 from Canada and it arrived with
no problems. Go figure...
I never experienced any customs hassle when importing any
military/marine/high end commercial
receivers/transmitters/transceivers (all "hollow state") from
anywhere. As long as the manifest is credible and reflects the nature
of the stuff (vintage, collectors item etc...) no problem and of
course no import duty below the value of $1000 or so - if I remember
correctly - of personal imports.
