What I find somewhat intrigueing is that the GO-9 and TBW sets are
somewhat mirror images of each other as to controls and meters,etc.

The GO9 has the transmit/receive relay in the power supply section,
while the
TBW has it in eah RF section. Also the GO9 has no modulator, and power
connections between units are different physically.
I can't imagine a GO9 or TBW goig tob 28 Mhz, the 803 is not a very
good upper
HF tube.
Have a GO9 here and a TBW aboard th USS Ling.

The TBW is very similar to the GO-9. There is a schematic on the BAMA
mirror
under westinghouse/go9. There is a small amount of additional
information in
the
surplus conversion manual (I forget which one).
Had the HF part of a GO-9. Sold it, what a stupid thing to do. Great
lineup
with
the 837s and 803.
