The outfit, ( 11thth Comm.) I was in during 1953 set up a  TRC/8 circuit 
between South Ruislip, and Bushey Park. West and south west  of London, Eng.
Failed due to the "picket fence" effect caused by the near by Railway  
line,,,
The Brits build a lot of there lines above ground, and were  inline line 
with our antennas.
